As the name suggests, this course helps fill the knowledge gaps novice medical writers may have. It covers everything from tips on technical writing techniques and how to use language effectively to convey your message without falling into the trap of over-generalisation or stating incorrect facts. It also teaches storytelling techniques, which I found especially useful. The course gives you many tips on how to make presentation slides look professional and how phase 3 trials should be evaluated. I loved this course and found it invaluable. After finishing the course, I felt I knew more about medical writing techniques than when I started. It is unsurprising since the course was created by one of the best medical writing instructors. So, if you are unsure whether to do this course, I wholeheartedly recommend that you do.
